 1.Fresh water sharks

Fresh water sharks are one of the most peaceful semi-aggressive fish(except red-tails).  They are hardy and excellent for the fresh-water beginner.   Fresh water sharks are egg-layers.  If you want to breed them you need a 20 gallon tank or larger.  You need aquarium salt-this makes them feel like they are in the wild.

3.barbs

barbs such as cherry barbs, tiger barbs, and rosy barbs will nip the fins of slow moving long finned fish and should not be kept in the community aquarium.  For all barbs, the tank should be 10-plus gallons.  Tiger barbs are very nippy, but go very well with clown loaches.  Tinfoil barbs should be kept in a large tank, for they can get very big.  Although most barbs are semi agressive, some like cherry barbs can be kept in a community tank.
